Atwima Nwabiagya North District Assembly( ANNDA ) has held a day orientation programme for its Assembly Members to equip them with the knowledge and skill to confront the task ahead of them. The educational event, afforded Assembly Members opportunity to learn the Organogram of District Assembly,  Model of Standing Orders for Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies ( MMDAs), functions of the Assembly Member, and code of conduct of Assembly Member with emphasis on their dos and don'ts. Mr Kaleem Abdallah Adam, the District Coordinating Director(DCD) and Honourable Isaac Ohemeng Prempeh, Presiding Member(PM) facilitated the event held at Barekese on Monday February 24, 2020.  The DCD and PM took turns to educate Assembly Members and urged Assembly Members exercise their legitimate duties as per the dictates of the Local Government Act 936. An eight-member District Census Implementation Committee(DCIC) with the mandate to ensure a successful implementation of the 2020 Population and Housing Census in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District has been inaugurated. The committee has Mr Kaleem Abdallah Adam ,the District Coordinating Director as its chairman .
